2024 LA events

In 2020, Postcards for Democracy launched in the midst of lockdown so any activities, events, exhibitions were held within those restrictions. Now, for the first time, the project will be celebrated in its city of conception... Los Angeles. So come and join us across Greater LA's universities, parks, libraries, community centers, museums and the occasional sidewalk! 

Pat Brown Institute’s Voter Fest (CalState)

Postcards for Democracy joins The Pat Brown Institute’s Fall Civic Series designed to build community, provide civic education, and inspire civic engagement.  We will host a pop-up studio at For "Vote Fest 2024: The Art of Civic Engagement,” where you will be able to design your postcard from different art supplies.

Postcards for Democracy joins Zocalo Public Square's "Will the Real Young Voters Please Stand Up?" live event from ASU California Center Broadway. Join Postcards for Democracy’s pop-up studio at this event to Both before and after the stage discussion from a pop-up Postcards for Democracy studio you will be able to design your postcard from different art supplies to contribute to send into the art campaign.

At the booth you will be able to design your postcard from different art supplies to send into the art campaign with a big exhibition of the cards to follow.
